Cardano Foundation and SENAI São Paulo Forge Strategic Partnership

The Cardano Foundation has partnered with SENAI São Paulo on blockchain adoption efforts tied to Brazilian industry, with an emphasis on training, certification and pilot projects. The collaboration is framed as a practical initiative aimed at preparing educators and industry participants for applied blockchain use.

The foundation’s June 2026 update says the partnership includes specialized training, educator certification programs and executive education. The effort also follows an initial technical immersion that reportedly onboarded 130 research and education specialists.

Training Programs Support Industrial Blockchain Readiness

The collaboration is designed to build institutional capacity around blockchain education before broader industrial deployment. By focusing on educators and executive-level participants, the program aims to create a knowledge base that can support later adoption across manufacturing and related sectors.

The partnership also introduces industrial pilot projects, including Digital Product Passports. These pilots suggest a move toward applied use cases where blockchain can support traceability, product lifecycle records and operational workflows.

That focus makes the initiative implementation-oriented rather than purely promotional. The current emphasis is not on claiming finished deployment, but on building the training, certification and testing structure needed for practical industry adoption.

Production Rollout Still Needs Further Confirmation

The partnership is presented as a multi-year initiative, but the scope of live activity and the pace of expansion remain limited in current disclosures.

For Cardano, the collaboration supports a broader push into real-world enterprise and education channels. SENAI São Paulo gives the effort an industrial training partner in Brazil, where workforce development and applied technical education can shape how pilots reach operational environments.

For now, the partnership positions Cardano around practical blockchain education and early industrial experimentation. The next measurable indicators will be completed certifications, pilot results, enterprise participation and evidence that Digital Product Passport use cases move from testing into production workflows.
