Binance has expanded its tokenized securities offering with the addition of GoPro and Reddit bStocks. GPROB and RDDTB began trading against USDT on September 16 at 12:00 UTC, giving eligible users 24/7 access to blockchain-based instruments linked to the two U.S.-listed companies.
According to Binance’s official listing announcement, GPROB and RDDTB are available through Binance Spot, with withdrawals enabled on BNB Smart Chain from 13:00 UTC. Spot Algo Trading Bots launched alongside the markets, while Rebalancing Bots are scheduled to become available within 24 hours. Binance Convert also supports zero-fee conversion into BTC, USDT and other eligible assets.
bStocks Provide 1:1 Equity Exposure
The legal structure is distinct from direct share ownership. bStocks are tokenized certificates issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance group affiliate registered in Abu Dhabi Global Market, and represent economic interests in underlying securities rather than ownership of the companies themselves. GPROB and RDDTB were approved by the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority as certificates over shares on September 15.
Each bStock is intended to be backed 1:1 by the corresponding underlying security held through regulated custody arrangements. Eligible users can convert supported stock positions into their corresponding bStocks at a 1:1 ratio without conversion fees, although eligibility, operational limits and the applicable legal documentation still govern redemption and conversion. Holding a bStock does not provide direct voting, inspection or shareholder rights in GoPro or Reddit.
The two assets also extend Binance’s on-chain equity infrastructure. GPROB and RDDTB can be withdrawn to compatible BNB Smart Chain wallets, allowing users to hold the instruments outside the exchange and interact with supported blockchain applications. Their smart-contract addresses are 0x1ECfda023C46cA216b5c620eF357A6D0C03951E6 for GPROB and 0x41622a9125A22767Df8C1dC79FC17299BAc4Bd0b for RDDTB.
Corporate Actions Follow the Underlying Stocks
Binance’s bStocks framework also accounts for events affecting the underlying securities. Dividends, stock splits and similar corporate actions can be reflected through a multiplier mechanism, with dividend proceeds generally reinvested into additional exposure after applicable taxes, fees and other deductions. Deposits, withdrawals or conversions can be temporarily restricted while some corporate actions are processed.
The tokens can trade around the clock even though the underlying U.S. stocks follow traditional market hours. That means a bStock’s market price can temporarily diverge from the underlying share price because of liquidity, after-hours trading, spreads, market-maker activity or corporate-action processing. Binance explicitly warns that the tokenized instrument does not necessarily trade at an identical price at every moment.
Access is also geographically restricted. Binance states that bStocks are not offered or made available in the United States or to U.S. persons, and the instruments have not been registered under the U.S. Securities Act. The next measurable development will be whether GPROB and RDDTB attract sustained 24/7 liquidity beyond their initial listing period as Binance continues expanding its tokenized securities lineup.
