BNB Chain has announced the expansion of AvengerDAO into a security marketplace, integrating 11 vetted security firms under a shared standard for network builders. The update transitions the initiative from a shared risk-scoring feed into a centralized directory where projects can access specialized security tools and auditing services.

The marketplace is designed to provide security infrastructure to projects across the network, regardless of their funding levels. According to an official blog post from BNB Chain, the expansion introduces a three-pillar framework: the Security Marketplace, a five-pillar security standard known as BNB-SS, and a bug bounty program.
The 11 participating security firms were selected by the BNB Chain security team based on their historical performance within the ecosystem. The structure allows developers to contact these partners directly or request assistance from the AvengerDAO administrative team without a formal application process. Projects that meet the criteria of the new security standard are eligible for a compliance badge.
The launch builds on AvengerDAO’s existing infrastructure, which includes a risk-scoring API that provides contract ratings and threat alerts to platforms such as BscScan, TrustWallet, and PancakeSwap. According to data included in the announcement, AvengerDAO member firms issued more than 38 million risk warnings in 2023, contributing to the recovery of $7.3 million during that period.
Recent data highlighted in the announcement shows a multi-year decline in network losses, which fell 85% in 2023, 69% in 2024, and 56% in 2025. The expansion follows previous efforts to address vulnerabilities on the chain, including the exploit of the AIDC token earlier this year. The incident underscored the ongoing risks associated with custom smart contract logic.
In addition to security infrastructure, the network recently introduced Agent Studio, a platform for deploying autonomous AI agents. The expansion of AvengerDAO aims to bring these development activities into a more standardized security environment and reduce the risk of future incidents.
