ZetaChain Onboards 250K Users With Privy

ZetaChain has onboarded 250,000 users on-chain through its integration with Privy, the wallet infrastructure provider owned by Stripe. The milestone reflects ZetaChain’s effort to simplify wallet creation and reduce onboarding friction, particularly for applications combining blockchain infrastructure with artificial intelligence.

According to an official ZetaChain announcement, the integration uses Privy to provision embedded wallets for users entering the ecosystem. The infrastructure removes much of the traditional seed-phrase complexity associated with self-directed blockchain onboarding, allowing applications to offer more familiar account experiences while still connecting users to on-chain functionality.

Privy Powers Embedded Wallet Infrastructure

One project using the integration is Anuma, a ZetaChain-based application developing what it describes as a Private Memory Layer for AI. Privy’s wallet infrastructure gives Anuma users an on-chain identity and asset layer without requiring them to manually create and manage conventional crypto wallets.

That architecture is particularly relevant for AI applications that rely on smart contracts to manage permissions, assets or persistent data. Embedded wallets can make blockchain interactions less visible to end users while preserving the underlying ability to execute on-chain transactions, potentially lowering one of the adoption barriers facing consumer-facing decentralized applications.

The 250,000-user figure represents accounts onboarded through the infrastructure rather than evidence that every wallet maintains the same level of recurring activity. The milestone demonstrates deployment scale, but sustained usage will depend on whether those users continue interacting with applications built on ZetaChain.

ZetaChain Expands Its AI Infrastructure

The Privy integration fits into ZetaChain’s broader effort to support blockchain-based AI services. The protocol has also developed infrastructure around private inference and token-gated model access. Adding streamlined wallet provisioning gives those AI-oriented services a simpler route for bringing users into on-chain workflows.

For applications such as AI memory layers, wallet infrastructure can provide a persistent mechanism for controlling identity, permissions and asset interactions. The combination of embedded wallets and smart contracts is intended to make blockchain functionality accessible without requiring users to understand every technical component operating underneath the application.

The integration is already live and supporting wallet creation and on-chain interactions across the ZetaChain ecosystem. The next measure of success will be whether the 250,000 onboarded users translate into recurring application activity, particularly as ZetaChain continues positioning its infrastructure around AI-enabled decentralized services.
