SlowMist Joins Cyberport’s Web4.0 & Agentic AI Security Alliance as a Founding Member

SlowMist has joined the Web4.0 & Agentic AI Security Alliance as a founding member, expanding its role in blockchain and AI security infrastructure. The alliance was launched by Hong Kong technology hub Cyberport to address risks emerging at the intersection of autonomous AI agents and decentralized systems.

The initiative brings together twelve cybersecurity and technology providers, including 360 Digital Security Group, Beosin, BlockSec, CertiK and Sangfor. SlowMist will contribute security expertise focused on AI agents, blockchain workflows and automated on-chain activity.

Alliance Targets Security Standards for Autonomous Agents

Cyberport is positioning the alliance around Web4.0, agentic AI and decentralized infrastructure. The goal is to build a collaborative framework for protecting autonomous systems that can execute complex tasks without constant human supervision.

That focus matters because AI agents introduce new operational and security risks. When agents interact with wallets, smart contracts, trading systems or data infrastructure, failures can move from software errors into financial loss or protocol-level disruption.

The alliance is expected to support best practices for agent-based blockchain activity, including risk management for automated decision-making, smart contract interactions and vulnerability detection. These safeguards become more important as agentic tools move from experiments into live business workflows.

Agentic Infrastructure Raises New Attack Surfaces

SlowMist’s participation extends its existing blockchain security monitoring into AI-driven environments. The firm’s recent security work has emphasized the need for stronger defenses as incident patterns evolve and attackers adopt more advanced automation.

The alliance also fits a wider industry shift toward infrastructure for autonomous systems. Projects across blockchain ecosystems are building frameworks for AI agents to trade, access on-chain tools, execute tasks and interact with decentralized applications.

Cyberport’s launch also connects with the opening of its One-Person Company Hub, which supports individual entrepreneurs and small AI-driven teams with computing power, cloud services and cybersecurity resources. That creates a controlled environment for testing agentic workflows.

For now, SlowMist’s founding role gives the alliance a dedicated blockchain security layer for agentic AI development. The next useful indicators will be security standards, developer guidance, incident-response frameworks and whether Cyberport’s ecosystem can turn agentic AI experimentation into safer production deployments.
