Ondo Joins DTCC Fund/SERV as First Tokenization Member

Ondo Finance has become the first tokenization platform represented in DTCC’s Fund/SERV network after its subsidiary Oasis Pro Markets joined the U.S. fund-processing system as a member. The connection gives Oasis Pro Markets a standardized route to transact with fund companies, wealth platforms and other service providers already using DTCC infrastructure, potentially reducing the need to build separate operational integrations for each counterparty.

According to the official DTCC announcement, Oasis Pro Markets is a U.S.-registered broker-dealer and distributor of tokenized investment products. DTCC describes it as the first tokenization platform to participate in Fund/SERV, which processes transactions for more than 85% of U.S. mutual fund activity. The milestone concerns connectivity to existing fund infrastructure rather than moving Fund/SERV itself onto a blockchain.

Fund/SERV Connects Tokenized Funds to Existing Rails

Fund/SERV is an established DTCC system for processing and settling transactions involving mutual funds, bank collective funds and other pooled investment products between fund companies and distributors. Its role is to standardize operational workflows across an industry that would otherwise depend on numerous bilateral connections. DTCC says its broader Fund Solutions infrastructure supports more than 1,300 Fund/SERV clients and processes trades for more than 85% of mutual funds, based on Q2 2026 data.

For Oasis Pro Markets, membership extends that standardized connectivity to activities surrounding tokenized funds. DTCC specifically identified account-level data, transaction confirmations, reconciliation, fund distributions, tax reporting and regulatory reporting among the supported workflows. The integration provides operational infrastructure for connecting tokenized products with traditional distribution channels, but it does not itself demonstrate that those distributors have begun offering Ondo funds to their clients.

Ian De Bode, Acting CEO and President of Ondo Finance, described the membership as a direct connection between tokenized funds and traditional fund distributors. The practical advantage is the ability to use one standardized connection when interacting with participating fund companies, wealth platforms and service providers instead of creating bespoke integrations for each relationship. DTCC framed the addition similarly, emphasizing interoperability between conventional market infrastructure and digital-asset systems.

Regulatory Developments Remain Separate From Membership

Oasis Pro Markets already operates within the U.S. securities framework. The company is an SEC-registered broker-dealer, a FINRA member and operates a noticed Alternative Trading System. In July, it received additional FINRA authorizations covering activities involving tokenized corporate equities and funds. Those regulatory permissions are separate from Fund/SERV membership, which provides transaction-processing and distribution connectivity rather than a new securities-law exemption.

The SEC’s September 17 “Innovation Exemption” is also a separate development. It provides temporary conditional relief for qualifying venues trading certain tokenized National Market System stocks through permissioned automated market makers and liquidity pools. The SEC order is an industry framework subject to eligibility conditions, not an Ondo-specific exemption created by the Fund/SERV integration.

The next meaningful milestone will be actual distribution through the newly available infrastructure. Fund launches, participating distributors, transaction volumes and investor-account activity through Fund/SERV would provide stronger evidence that standardized connectivity is translating into broader adoption of tokenized funds. For now, the confirmed change is infrastructural: a tokenization-focused broker-dealer has entered the operational network that processes the majority of U.S. mutual fund transaction activity.
