Statics Protocol Launches Uniswap v4 Incentives on Robinhood Chain

Statics Protocol launches Phase 1 on Robinhood Chain with a Uniswap V4 hook, LP incentives and lifetime fee sharing for pool creators.

Fintech analyst at a tidy desk watches a screen showing Uniswap V4 hook on Robinhood Chain with LP incentives.

Statics Protocol has activated liquidity incentives for its Phase 1 decentralized exchange infrastructure on Robinhood Chain, combining Uniswap v4 trading fees with a separate gauge-based rewards system. The initial incentive campaign covers STATICS/USDG and STATICS/ETH, with the protocol advertising more than $20,000 in combined rewards for the current week.

According to Statics’ official LP rewards documentation, liquidity providers continue earning the native Uniswap v4 fees attached to their positions while optionally enrolling those positions in Statics range gauges for additional incentives. Native LP fees and Statics rewards are separate earning mechanisms rather than two claims on the same pool fee.

Phase 1 is deployed on Robinhood mainnet and supports permissionless public pool creation for ERC-20 pairs and native ETH/ERC-20 markets. Creating a public pool currently costs 0.01 ETH under the verified launch configuration. Pool creators choose the native v4 LP fee, initial price, tick spacing and bilateral Statics hook-fee rate within protocol-defined limits.

Hook Fees Create a Second Revenue Layer

Public pools use StaticsSwapFeeHook, which can charge a separate fee on both realized sides of a swap. The verified launch default was 5 basis points on the input and another 5 basis points on the output, although creators can select different initial rates within defined bounds. These hook fees exist independently of the ordinary fee that Uniswap v4 liquidity providers earn from their positions.

Under the current Phase 1 allocation profile, 40% of bilateral hook revenue is assigned to managed protocol-owned liquidity, 35% to eligible STATICS stakers, 20% to Treasury and 5% permanently to the pool creator. Managed POL begins disabled for ordinary pools; until activated, its allocation is redirected to Treasury.

That creator share introduces an unusual incentive for market formation. Anyone can create an eligible public pool by paying the required fee, even without being the issuer of either token. The creator’s 5% claim applies to future hook fees generated by that PoolId rather than giving the creator administrative control over the underlying tokens or liquidity.

The architecture arrives as programmable pool logic is already handling substantial activity on Robinhood Chain. Recent data showed Uniswap v4 hooks processing a majority of the network’s v4 trading, while Uniswap has previously accounted for most tracked Robinhood Chain DEX volume. Statics is building its incentive system on top of that v4 infrastructure rather than creating an independent AMM engine.

LP Rewards Extend Beyond Trading Fees

Liquidity providers that want additional rewards can bind a Uniswap PositionManager NFT to a Statics PositionNFT and enroll it in a pool’s range gauge. Both full-range and concentrated positions are supported, but only eligible in-range liquidity accrues the corresponding incentives.

Each gauge contains five reward slots. Slot 0 is reserved for protocol-funded STATICS incentives, while four additional slots can receive externally funded reward assets. STATICS holders can also allocate stake toward individual PoolIds, influencing how protocol rewards are directed between markets.

The structure does not require continuous token inflation. STATICS launched with a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens and no post-launch mint function. Protocol incentives therefore come from existing token resources rather than newly created STATICS, while third parties can independently fund additional gauge rewards.

Programmable incentives add another layer of smart-contract exposure, however. Previous research found widespread security concerns among permissionless Uniswap v4 hook deployments. Using Uniswap’s PoolManager does not make the custom logic attached to an individual hook automatically safe, making contract-specific review relevant before liquidity is committed.

Later Statics phases are designed to expand the system further. Phase 2 introduces fixed-composition baskets, canonical basket pools and self-backed lending, with basket-specific hook economics. Those features remain roadmap functionality and are not part of the current Phase 1 deployment.

For now, the measurable launch is narrower: Statics has activated a Uniswap v4-based market and reward architecture in which LPs can combine native trading fees with separately funded incentives, while pool creators receive an enduring share of hook revenue. Whether the design produces durable liquidity will depend on actual deposits, trading volume and reward funding after the initial incentives decline.
