DMT-NAT Sees Fresh Sweep Activity on Bitcoin

DMT-NAT records fresh bulk purchases on Bitcoin as marketplace sweeps continue and f2pool maintains support for NAT miner rewards.

DMT-NAT has recorded another cluster of large secondary-market purchases on Bitcoin, extending a pattern of concentrated buying around the experimental Digital Matter Theory asset. Recent Ordinals Wallet activity shows several multi-billion-token NAT purchases completed within days of one another, providing evidence of renewed trading interest without establishing a broad increase in market participation.

On-chain data from block.space identifies dmt-nat as the largest TAP asset by attributed blockspace, with more than 1.3 million recorded protocol operations. NAT is a fungible TAP token rather than an NFT collection, meaning its balances can be transferred in varying quantities and its unit price should not be interpreted as an NFT-style collection floor.

Recent Ordinals Wallet records include individual purchases involving billions of NAT at a time, following similar bulk transactions documented throughout the year. The activity continues an established pattern of buyers consuming multiple or unusually large NAT positions, although individual sweeps provide little information about unique buyer growth or persistent bid depth.

Repeated Sweeps Concentrate DMT-NAT Trading

This is not the first period of concentrated NAT buying. Earlier DMT-NAT marketplace sweeps included purchases totaling 0.05200972 BTC and 0.03895322 BTC, while subsequent bulk buying continued into September. Repeated sweeps demonstrate recurring demand from some market participants, but they do not establish deep or broadly distributed liquidity.

The distinction matters in specialized Bitcoin-native markets because a relatively small number of buyers can consume available listings rapidly. Similar concentration has appeared during Runestone Ordinals sweep activity, where bulk acquisitions altered immediately available inventory without proving a market-wide recovery. Gross marketplace turnover therefore needs to be separated from buyer count, liquidity depth and sustained demand.

DMT-NAT derives its issuance model from Digital Matter Theory, which uses observable Bitcoin block data as inputs for token creation. Its supply mechanics are linked to Bitcoin data rather than a conventional issuer-selected fixed allocation, with TAP providing the metaprotocol rules used to interpret NAT balances and transfers.

Mining Support Adds Utility but Not Trading Causality

NAT also has an operational connection to Bitcoin mining. f2pool began supporting DMT-NAT as an additional reward for Bitcoin miners on April 27, allowing participants to accrue NAT alongside BTC and other supported rewards after configuring a compatible payout address. The f2pool integration demonstrates that NAT’s miner-reward model is being used in production rather than remaining solely a project proposal.

The integration does not, however, explain the latest marketplace activity. There is no verified evidence linking f2pool distributions directly to the recent sweep transactions, and mining rewards could theoretically create either additional holders or additional sell-side supply depending on participant behavior.

NAT’s own project thesis proposes the token as an additional long-term incentive for Bitcoin miners as the native block subsidy declines. That remains an experimental economic model rather than an established component of Bitcoin’s security budget, since NAT is a metaprotocol asset and not part of Bitcoin consensus or BTC issuance.

The latest transactions therefore provide a narrower signal than a general resurgence in Bitcoin-native assets. DMT-NAT is seeing renewed concentrated buying while its mining integrations remain operational, but sustained market expansion would require deeper liquidity, recurring turnover and broader participation beyond individual sweeps.
