Axie Infinity has launched Terrariums V1.1 on Ronin, expanding its land-based progression and rewards system with new utility for accessories, land items, evolved Axie parts and Fortune Slips. The update is live rather than a future roadmap feature.
Atia’s Flame remains the central resource connecting Axies, land and bAXS rewards. Axies assigned to the Atia Shrine generate Flame, while each plot receives a share of its land category’s hourly reward pool according to its contribution.

Collections and Items Now Increase Atia’s Flame
Terrariums V1.1 adds three new inputs to the reward formula, building on evolved-part benefits introduced earlier in July. Accessories increase an individual Axie’s Flame, while land items and Fortune Slips apply broader boosts to the plot.
Players can equip up to five accessories on each Axie, with the contribution determined by the item’s rarity and the Axie collection involved. Accessories can also increase AXP when an Axie is resting instead of working at the shrine.
Each plot can hold up to eight land items, which increase Atia’s Flame and AXP according to rarity. Matching an item with its land environment produces an additional multiplier, while Genesis and Luna’s Landing plots receive multipliers across every supported item.
Fortune Slips can now activate a 10% Atia’s Flame boost for 24 hours. Additional purchases extend the duration instead of increasing the percentage, and the required number of slips varies by land category.
Live Mechanics Add New Asset-Management Decisions
The update gives Axie and land holders more control over how collections contribute to rewards. Players must decide where to place evolved Axies, accessories and rare land items because each configuration can change a plot’s share of the bAXS pool.
Activating land or assigning Axies also introduces temporary transfer and marketplace restrictions. Active assets cannot be listed or moved until they are withdrawn or deactivated through the relevant Terrariums or App.Axie workflow.
Community giveaways have circulated around the V1.1 launch, but the official release does not establish a complete Axie-run contest structure. Eligibility, prizes and wallet-submission requirements should therefore be verified through the specific organizer’s authenticated account rather than inferred from the Terrariums update itself.
Terrariums V1.1 gives Axie collections and previously decorative assets a direct role in Ronin-based progression and rewards. The next indicators will be player participation, bAXS distribution, item usage and whether the expanded mechanics improve retention before the planned V1.2 features arrive.
