SPONSORED CONTENT AND ADVERTISING POLICY
Last updated: May 13, 2026
DigitalCoinJournal accepts advertising and sponsored content only under rules that protect the distinction between editorial work and paid promotion.
Commercial content can appear on the site. It must not pretend to be independent journalism.
1. Labelling
Sponsored content, paid placements, native advertising, advertorials and similar material should be labelled clearly.
Labels may include:
- Sponsored;
- Advertisement;
- Partner Content;
- Press Release;
- Promotional Content;
- Affiliate Disclosure.
The label should be visible to readers before they rely on the content.
2. Editorial separation
Payment for advertising or sponsored content does not buy favourable newsroom coverage.
The editorial team can cover, ignore, criticise or fact-check an advertiser based on ordinary editorial judgment.
3. Responsibility for claims
Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for the claims they provide.
DigitalCoinJournal can reject, edit or remove commercial material that appears misleading, unlawful, exaggerated, unsupported or harmful to readers.
4. Crypto advertising standards
DigitalCoinJournal does not knowingly accept advertising that relies on:
- guaranteed profit claims;
- unrealistic yield promises;
- fake urgency;
- hidden risk;
- impersonation;
- fabricated partnerships;
- misleading exchange or wallet claims;
- unclear token sale terms;
- pressure-based investment messaging;
- disguised testimonials;
- statements that imply regulatory approval where none exists.
Crypto projects, exchanges, wallets, protocols and service providers must present themselves accurately.
5. Sponsored articles
Sponsored articles should not be written to look like neutral reporting if the purpose is commercial promotion.
Sponsored articles may include information supplied by the sponsor, but DigitalCoinJournal can edit for clarity, compliance, labelling, formatting and reader protection.
6. Links in sponsored content
Sponsored or paid links should use appropriate link attributes, such as:
rel="sponsored"rel="nofollow"
Commercial links should not be used to manipulate search rankings.
7. Affiliate links
DigitalCoinJournal may receive compensation when readers click affiliate links or sign up for third-party services through the site.
Affiliate relationships do not change the reader’s price unless clearly stated by the third party. Readers should review the third party’s own terms before using any product or service.
8. Rejection and removal
DigitalCoinJournal can reject or remove advertising at its discretion, especially where content creates legal, reputational, regulatory or reader-protection concerns.

AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
Some pages on DigitalCoinJournal may contain affiliate links. If a reader clicks one of those links and later signs up, purchases a service or completes another qualifying action, DigitalCoinJournal may receive compensation.
Affiliate links can appear in:
- reviews;
- guides;
- comparisons;
- tutorials;
- exchange or wallet coverage;
- software or tool recommendations;
- newsletter content.
Affiliate compensation does not turn a third-party service into a DigitalCoinJournal product. The third party remains responsible for its own platform, pricing, security, custody practices, availability, terms and customer support.
DigitalCoinJournal does not guarantee that an affiliate product is suitable for every reader. Crypto services vary widely by jurisdiction, risk profile, fees, security model and regulatory status.
Readers should carry out their own checks before using any exchange, wallet, protocol, analytics platform, trading tool or financial service.
